Short-haul sun: European family resorts that are easy with a baby or toddler
A flight short enough to survive, a crèche that takes little ones and the cot already in the room. Five resorts within a few hours of the UK that do the hard work for you.
The secret to a first holiday abroad with a baby is distance. Keep the flight short, the transfer shorter and pick a resort that already has the steriliser, the bottle warmer and the buggy. These five are in Portugal, Spain and Greece, and every one of them takes babies seriously.

Martinhal Sagres
Best for: the most baby-specific resort on the list
On Portugal's wild south-west tip, right by Martinhal beach, this is a resort built around families. The kids' clubs start with a Nursery for 6 to 12 months and a Crèche for 13 to 23 months, in three-hour sessions. The baby concierge provides free cots, bottle sterilisers and warmers, baby baths, highchairs, pushchairs, monitors and safety gates, and there are five pools, two of them heated.
Good to know: club prices aren't published, there are no pool lifeguards, and the baby package isn't available 24 to 30 October 2026.

Ikos Porto Petro
Best for: all-inclusive ease on a short flight
A smart all-inclusive on Mallorca's south-east coast, under an hour from Palma. The Heroes Crèche takes babies from 6 months to 4 years with low ratios (1 to 3 for under-2s), the Kids Club for 4 to 12s is free, and baby monitors, baby baths and toilet adapters are free on request. Ikos says its teams work in line with UK Ofsted standards.
Good to know: the crèche costs extra and should be pre-booked, and it's a seasonal resort, so check dates.

Mark Warner has been doing family holidays for decades, and Paleros on the Ionian coast is one of its classic beach resorts. There's a Baby Club for 4 to 11 months, a Toddler Club for 1 to 2s and a Mini Club for 3 to 5s, plus evening childcare. Travel cots, highchairs, potties, bottle sterilising, milk and purées are all supplied, and there's a children's high tea.
Good to know: childcare for under-2s costs extra, and only half days are included for 2 to 5s.

Grecotel LuxMe Kos Imperial
Best for: all-inclusive with baby kit sorted in advance
A beachfront all-inclusive near Kos Town with family bungalows and a new lazy river. Through GrecoBaby (0 to 3), you can pre-request cots, buggies, bottle sterilisers and monitors before you arrive, and there are potties, trainer steps and changing facilities around the resort, plus baby food made to order. Under-4s can join the Grecoland kids' club with a parent.
Good to know: there's no supervised club for under-4s, and it's the longest flight on the list.
Visit Kos ImperialFlying with a baby: the short version
- Your baby needs their own passport. Apply early, as it can take a few weeks.
- Feed on take-off and landing. Sucking helps with ear pressure, so a feed, bottle or dummy is your friend.
- Milk and baby food are allowed through security in quantities you need for the journey, even over 100ml.
- Book a bassinet seat on longer flights if your airline offers them, and check your EHIC or GHIC card and travel insurance cover the baby.

If you’re trying to conceive (TTC), you probably know that there are certain foods and nutrients that become especially important once you’re pregnant. But nutrition plays a vital role even when trying to conceive, much like laying a strong foundation before constructing a house.
Certain nutrients create that foundation by supporting egg and sperm health (yes, nutrition matters for both partners), hormone balance and creating a hospitable environment for a fertilized egg to implant. In fact, studies show that certain nutrients can help increase fertility and improve success rates for both natural conception and fertility treatments.
In other words, nutrition is a key player in the TTC journey, but getting the right nutrients in the right quantities can be tricky. That’s where supplements come in. Just as you’d take a multivitamin to fill in nutritional gaps for optimal health, fertility supplements can give you that extra nutrient boost.
