My Motherhood

Could your baby be the face of Motherhood magazine?

We are on the hunt for our next cover star. If you have a little one under one, here is how to put them forward for the front of our December issue, and the prize draw that comes with it.

The search is officially open. Every issue of Motherhood magazine needs a face, and this time we would love it to be yours. We are looking for one baby to feature on the cover of our December 2026 edition, the one that lands in thousands of homes over the festive season. There is no theme, no dress code and absolutely no need for a professional photographer. We just want real babies, exactly as they are on an ordinary Tuesday.

Whether your little one is a serene sleeper or a full-time chaos merchant, they are welcome here. The only rule is age: your baby needs to be under one at the time of entry. Beyond that, every kind of face, every mood and every gloriously unstyled moment is fair game.

A magazine you cannot buy in a shop

The current issue, handed straight to mums-to-be at private scanning clinics.

This is the part that makes the cover so special. Motherhood is a tri-yearly print magazine, and you will not find it on any shelf. It is handed straight to mums-to-be at private scanning clinics across the UK, tucked inside the free Custard & Crumble pregnancy gift bags. No checkout, no subscription, just placed into your hands on one of the most exciting days of your pregnancy.

That quiet, hand-delivered way of reaching mums is exactly why a cover is such a keepsake. Your baby would not simply be a photo that scrolls past online. They would be on the front of a real magazine that mums carry home, keep on the coffee table and flick through with a cuppa. It is the kind of thing you frame, not recycle. You can have a read of the current issue online to see exactly what your little one would be gracing.

What your baby could win

Every entry goes into the draw for £1,000 of baby and mum goodies.

The cover is only half of it. As well as the chance to star on the front of the December issue, every single entry is automatically entered into a prize draw for £1,000 worth of baby and mum goodies. Think the bits you actually reach for, chosen by us and the brands we love, from the first few weeks right through to the toddler years.

So even if your baby is not the one we crop onto the cover, they are still in with a very real shot at a very lovely pile of things. Nobody enters and walks away with nothing but a maybe.

You do not need a studio shoot or a perfect smile. Just your baby, as they are, on a day that ended in your arms.

How to enter

It takes about two minutes. Find a photo you already love, or take a fresh one on your phone this afternoon, and pop it through our entry form. That is genuinely the whole thing.

  1. Pick your favourite photo of your baby (a phone snap is perfect).
  2. Fill in a few quick details on the entry form.
  3. Upload the picture, hit submit, and you are in.

The small print, kept small

Entries are open to babies under one, and you are welcome to enter more than one little one if you have your hands that full. We may share a shortlist of our favourite faces across our channels along the way, and the prize draw winner will be picked at random from all valid entries after the closing date. Full terms live on the entry form, but the spirit of it is simple: real babies, warmly welcome, no pressure.

A little note: cover selection is at the discretion of the Motherhood team, and entering means you are happy for us to feature your photo in the magazine and across our channels if your baby is chosen. Please only enter photos you own and are happy to share. It takes a village, and we cannot wait to meet yours.

If you’re trying to conceive (TTC), you probably know that there are certain foods and nutrients that become especially important once you’re pregnant. But nutrition plays a vital role even when trying to conceive, much like laying a strong foundation before constructing a house.

Certain nutrients create that foundation by supporting egg and sperm health (yes, nutrition matters for both partners), hormone balance and creating a hospitable environment for a fertilized egg to implant. In fact, studies show that certain nutrients can help increase fertility and improve success rates for both natural conception and fertility treatments.

In other words, nutrition is a key player in the TTC journey, but getting the right nutrients in the right quantities can be tricky. That’s where supplements come in. Just as you’d take a multivitamin to fill in nutritional gaps for optimal health, fertility supplements can give you that extra nutrient boost.

Choosing supplements for your fertility journey

When choosing a supplement to support your fertility journey, look for science-backed, high-quality ingredients. Our editors are careful to select and partner with brands that use ingredients that have been clinically studied to support fertility. Eu Natural® (pronounced you) covers all those bases and more. We love knowing that Eu Natural® products contain zero artificial additives, binders, or fillers and are lab-tested to ensure purity and potency.
