The Little Green Sheep's new autumn collection: organic, calm and made to match
Sleeping bags, bedding, blankets, muslins and new Moses basket liners in soft autumn shades, all in organic fabrics and designed to coordinate, so the whole sleep space comes together in one go.
Newborns sleep a lot. The Little Green Sheep puts it at around 14 hours a day, which makes the Moses basket or cot one of the most used corners of your home. So it makes sense that it should feel calm, soft and like it belongs there.
That's the idea behind the natural sleep brand's new autumn collection. It's a curated range of timeless shades and calming prints across sleeping bags, bedding and cosy blankets, made to keep little ones comfortable as the evenings draw in, and to still look lovely well beyond this season.
What's in the collection
- Sleeping bags. New prints and shades for baby, ready for cooler nights.
- Moses basket liners. New for this launch, and an easy way to refresh a basket. A spare is handy for the inevitable night-time leaks.
- Bedding. Coordinating pieces to take you from basket to cot.
- Blankets. Cosy layers for pram walks and supervised sofa snuggles.
- Muslins. Because there is no such thing as too many.
Everything is designed to work together, so you can build a complete, coordinated set rather than piecing things together from five different shops. There's a print and colour to suit most homes and interiors, whether your nursery is a whole room or a corner of your bedroom.
Why the fabrics matter
The new bedding and sleeping bags are made from 100% organic materials, free from nasties, using a blend of organic linen, jersey, muslin and cotton. The brand promises superior softness and breathability, and each fabric brings something slightly different:
- Organic cotton. Soft, breathable and easy to wash. The everyday workhorse.
- Jersey. Stretchy and gentle against new skin.
- Muslin. Light and airy, good for warmer rooms and layering.
- Linen. Naturally breathable, and it softens with every wash.
Breathability is the one to think about in autumn. The heating goes on, rooms swing from chilly to stuffy, and a baby can't kick off a layer the way you can.
Around 14 hours a day in one spot. It's worth making it lovely.

A beautiful sleep space is a simple one. The Lullaby Trust advice is worth keeping in mind as you put it together:
- Back to sleep, every time, on a firm, flat, waterproof mattress.
- Keep the basket or cot clear. No pillows, duvets, cot bumpers or soft toys.
- Aim for a room of 16 to 20°C, and choose the sleeping bag TOG by the room, not the weather.
- Sleeping bags should fit well, sized for your baby's weight so they can't slip down inside. With a well-fitted bag, there's no need for extra blankets.
- Using blankets instead? Put baby feet to foot and tuck thin layers in firmly, no higher than the shoulders.
- Save the cosy blankets for the pram and daytime cuddles while you're awake and watching.
Putting together a full autumn kit? Our round-up of autumn essentials for newborns covers the rest, including how to dress a baby for chilly walks.

If you’re trying to conceive (TTC), you probably know that there are certain foods and nutrients that become especially important once you’re pregnant. But nutrition plays a vital role even when trying to conceive, much like laying a strong foundation before constructing a house.
Certain nutrients create that foundation by supporting egg and sperm health (yes, nutrition matters for both partners), hormone balance and creating a hospitable environment for a fertilized egg to implant. In fact, studies show that certain nutrients can help increase fertility and improve success rates for both natural conception and fertility treatments.
In other words, nutrition is a key player in the TTC journey, but getting the right nutrients in the right quantities can be tricky. That’s where supplements come in. Just as you’d take a multivitamin to fill in nutritional gaps for optimal health, fertility supplements can give you that extra nutrient boost.
