The new Bouncer Begin is the next version of that design, built specifically for the first months with a new baby. BabyBjörn says around 400 babies and their families gave feedback during its development.
Snug from day one
It can be used from 2.8kg, with no extra insert needed. The cocoon-like shape supports your baby from head to hips, and BabyBjörn says the design is acknowledged as hip healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. The buckles and harness are designed to adjust easily as your baby grows.
The rocking comes from your baby's own movements, which the brand says helps with motor skills and balance while soothing them at the same time. No batteries, no music, no flashing lights.

Easy to live with
It's lightweight and folds flat, so it's simple to move from room to room, slide behind the sofa or take to the grandparents'. An easy-grip seat positioner lets you switch between positions quickly, and the fabric seat comes off for the washing machine, which, trust us, it will need.
It comes in brushed woven fabric or airy mesh, in Light Green, Dark Gray, Cream and Sand Gray, all certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1, meaning safe for skin and mouths.
Using a bouncer safely
A bouncer is for awake time, not sleep. Always use the harness, keep it on the floor rather than a table or sofa, and stay nearby. If your baby falls asleep, The Lullaby Trust advises moving them onto their back on a firm, flat surface. The Bouncer Begin is suitable from birth to 9 months, or up to 9kg.
