Your appointments, scans and vaccines, how to look after your body and mind, and the warning signs that mean you should call your maternity unit straight away.

If you only remember five things
  1. If your baby's movements slow down, stop or change, call your maternity unit straight away. Never wait until the next day.
  2. Have your whooping cough vaccine from 16 weeks, your RSV vaccine from 28 weeks and your flu jab in autumn or winter.
  3. A bad headache, blurred vision, pain under your ribs or sudden swelling can be signs of pre-eclampsia. Call your maternity unit.
  4. Itching on your hands and feet, especially at night, needs checking the same day.
  5. Your mental health matters as much as your physical health. Tell your midwife how you're really feeling.
