The Product Trial

This is a Motherhood Insider Club Product Test. My 1st Years has launched its new personalised Christmas collection, and we are looking for two families to test it at home in the run-up to Christmas. If you are selected, you will receive a personalised Christmas sack and stocking set free of charge, made with your child's name, and in return share honest feedback that helps other parents choose this year's festive keepsakes.

Why parents are excited about it

There is something about seeing their own name on a stocking that makes Christmas feel real to a little one. These are the kind of pieces that come out of the loft every December for years, so they are worth getting right. The Red Velvet set is quilted red velvet with a white faux fur top and the name embroidered in gold, while the Cream Borg set is soft cream borg with gold thread embroidery. Both come with ribbon pom poms on the stocking and a hidden elastic closure on the sack, so little hands can't peek early.

What we'll need from you

If you are selected, we will give you full guidance. You will be asked to:
• Send us your child's name for the personalisation and a delivery address straight away, so it arrives in good time for Christmas
• Share a short unboxing video and 2 to 4 clear photos of the sack and stocking (no faces needed if you prefer)
• Post about it on your social channels, tagging @motherhoodonline and @my1styears
• Complete a short, honest written review covering the quality, the personalisation, the Elf Box and overall value
• Submit everything within 7 days of it arriving, as this is a Christmas campaign

Your review, photos and video may be published on motherhood.online, promoted through our email and social channels and shared by My 1st Years.

Entry details

End date: Wednesday 28th October 2026

This is a quick turnaround so the gifts can be personalised and delivered before Christmas. Testers will be contacted by email by Thursday 29th October. If you are selected, we will ask for your child's name, your delivery address and confirmation that you can complete the review within 7 days of it arriving.

Please note: if we don't hear back within 48 hours, we may offer the place to another entrant.
